Hi everyone! Sarah here. (with my service dog Edison.) I am hosting a discussion group for parents, caregivers, siblings, therapists and anyone in between to come together and have a open discussion. I have Cerebral Palsy and find that there are not enough opportunities for discussion surrounding what disability is but more so, as a chance to connect with others. I created this group with the intention of just that! I will of course share my story and then it would be open discussion from there. Anyone can join!!!
I am putting these groups on hold but if you have an organization and would like me to host a group, please let me know!
Discussion structure:
Beginning welcome and introductions.
I’ll introduce myself and speak a little bit about my story.

Then the room will be opened up for discussion.
The hope is that each person will have a chance to share for about three minutes to keep the room going smoothly.
Meeting length: Around 50 to 55 minutes with a 15 to 20 minute after party for more discussion on specific topics that are shared.
